Data policy

We process your personal data exclusively in compliance with the statutory provisions, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz), the Data Protection Adjustment Act 2018 (Datenschutzanpassungsgesetz), and the Telecommunications Act (Telekommunikationsgesetz).
1. Personal data
We collect, process and use your personal data only with your consent as provided within the context of an order or when making contact, for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the GDPR. This processing is carried out in compliance with data protection and civil law provisions. Your personal data, in addition to any documents or photographs you have uploaded, will be collected and processed by us for the purpose of processing and transferring data within the context of the business relationship with you as a partner (customer or supplier), including any associated electronically created and archived documents (such as correspondence). The following personal data is processed for this purpose: first and last name, date of birth, nationality, contact details (address, e-mail address, telephone contact details); order and delivery data; payment details.
2. Purpose of the data collection
Our main purpose when collecting personal data is to enable you to use the service safely, efficiently and personally. Your data will be used for the following purposes: the proper performance of the contract, processing the order, providing our products and services and adjusting, measuring and improving our performance.
3. Data security
Your personal data is protected by appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions in particular relate to protection against unauthorised, illegal or accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding the efforts to maintain a consistently high level of due diligence requirements, it cannot be ruled out that the information you provide to us on the internet may be viewed and used by other people. Please note that we therefore accept no liability under any circumstances for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission if we are not at fault and/or due to unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hacked e-mail account or telephone, interception of faxes).
4. Transmission of data to third parties
It may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g. the shipping company commissioned to deliver the ordered goods) or authorities in order to fulfil our contract. Your data will only be forwarded on the basis of the GDPR, in particular to fulfil our contract, or on the basis of your prior consent. Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located or process your personal data abroad. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in Austria. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries if the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or if we have taken measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection by concluding standard consumption clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).
5. Notification of data breaches
We endeavour to ensure that data breaches are detected at an early stage and, if necessary, are immediately reported to you or the responsible supervisory authority, taking into account the respective affected data categories.
6. Storage of the data
Your data will be stored until the end of the business relationship or until the applicable guarantee, statute of limitations and statutory retention periods have expired. Data will also be stored until the end of any legal disputes for which this data is required as evidence. The employees involved in the settlement and the process have access to the processed data.
7. Cookies
This website uses “cookies” to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure.
A “cookie” is a small text file which that we transfer to the browser's cookie file on your computer's hard drive via our web server. This enables our website to recognise you as a user when a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number which makes no personal reference to the user. The main purpose of a cookie is to recognise website visitors.
Two types of cookie are used on this website:

8. Server-Log-Files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us in order to optimise this website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and the provision of useful information about our services. This includes your internet protocol address (IP address), browser and language settings, operating system, referrer URL, your internet service provider and the date/time. This data is not combined with any personal data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.
9. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients and the purpose of the data processing, as well as the right to its rectification, the transfer of data, the objection to and restriction of processing and the blocking and erasure of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.
If there are any changes to your personal data, we request that you notify us accordingly.
You have the right to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, its erasure or rectification or the objection to and/or the transfer of data (in the latter case, provided that this does not involve disproportionate effort) can be sent to our company address as specified below in this Policy (see Section X.).
If you are of the opinion that our processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been infringed in any other way, you can complain to the responsible supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority is responsible for this.
